A very warm welcome here at Solhoff Tech Incubator.

My name is Benjamin.

I'm the CEO of Solhoff, and I'm quite excited to have Siemens and FAU today here in our

brand new venue.

As already said, later that day we will have our opening ceremony here in the event space

at Solhoff.

And let me tell you a short story why I'm excited to have those two organizations here

today at the CKA conference.

120 years ago, there was an entrepreneur in Nuremberg who produced ultramine color here

at Solhoff in Nuremberg.

And he invented a method to produce this color in a really fast and efficient way.

And back then, it was a revolution because ultramarine color was quite expensive and

hard to get.

He filed a patent for his invention.

And in fact, it was the very first patent filed in Germany.

And for such innovation-heavy organizations like Siemens and FAU, I think that's quite

a good fit for today.

And I'm quite happy to have you here.
